WeedOut® Ultra Professional

The active ingredient 4-chloroindole-3-acetic acid is based on a natural plant hormone found in peas and broad bean plants. WeedOut® Ultra Professional is a selective herbicide. When sprayed on broadleaf weeds, it triggers the plant to wilt and die.

No. WeedOut® Ultra Professional will have no effect on grass or lawns. Because it is a selective herbicide, it only affects weeds that are listed on the label. Grass that is accidentally treated may temporarily turn brown but will recover.

In most situations, one application effectively controls the target broadleaf weeds. For more resistant weeds, reapply after 4 to 6 weeks, as directed on the product label. If new weeds emerge from seed later in the season, treat them as needed. WeedOut® Ultra Professional is intended for spot treatment only and should be used as part of a sound turf maintenance program.
