ACTIVE INGREDIENTS WORK TOGETHER TO ENHANCE PLANT PERFORMANCE, QUALITY AND YIELD
PRO-MIX offers a wide variety of value-added growing media incorporating cutting-edge active ingredients, which have proven to give growers the return on investment they are looking for. Mycorrhizae and Bacillus are increasingly known in horticulture.
View how both microorganisms, when put in combination, are even more efficient and profitable.
Mycorrhizae
PTB297 Technology, Glomus intraradices
Mycorrhizae are beneficial associations between a mycorrhizal fungus and roots. Mycorrhizal spores germinate in the growing medium and produce filaments (hyphae) which enters into root cells. This association allows the formation of an intra and extra-radical network of filaments that explore the soil and access more nutrients and water, and transfer them to the plant.
• Expand rooth system growth
• Enhance nutrient & water uptake
• Increase tolerance to stresses
• Reduce transplant shock

Bacillus
PTB180 Technology, Bacillus pumilus
Bacillus bacterium produces an antibiotic which helps suppress root rot diseases caused by Fusarium, Pythium and Rhizoctonia.
It also secretes biostimulant molecules (auxins) to form a biofilm around the root system that ensures protection and induces the proliferation of root hairs to favor the absorption of nutrients and water.
• Accelerates seed germination & plant establishment
• Reduces need for fungicide drenches
• Strenghtens plant disease resistance
Horticulture Specialist Troy Buechel explains how our active ingredients BIOFUNGICIDE help you
get better plant resistance to pathogens such as Pythium, Fusarium and Rhizoctonia.
PRO-MIX BIOFUNGICIDE + MYCORRHIZAE offers growers the benefits of plant protection from root diseases caused by specific root pathogens, plant growth enhancement and insect suppression – aimed at fungus gnats and thrips.
These are exclusive benefits of PRO-MIX BIOFUNGICIDE + MYCORRHIZAE growing media products.

Through years of research on active ingredients, Premier Tech has developed products with an optimal combination of BIOFUNGICIDE (Bacillus pumilus) and MYCORRHIZAE (Glomus intraradices).
PRO-MIX BIOFUNGICIDE + MYCORRHIZAE is a line of growing media products that includes active ingredients protecting plant roots from harmful pathogens and enhance plant growth. Basically, the bacillus is a natural bacterium that suppresses the pathogens Fusarium, Pythium and Rhizoctonia that cause plant root diseases, crown rot, and seedling rot diseases.
