The PRO-MIX HP open top grow bag is the new delivery system solution for cannabis producers. With eight pre-made drip holes, a tear-off opening, and its availability in two sizes (1 ft3 and 0.5 ft3 loose-fill growing medium, equivalent to 7 and 3.5 gallons respectively), the open top grow bag solution ensures ease of use.

Its multiple openings improve aeration in the root zone for equal air distribution, increasing the breathability of the container and promoting root development. It includes mycorrhizae which enhance root growth, water and nutrient uptake, increase plant resistance to environmental stresses such as drought, compaction, salinity, low fertility, and reduce transplant shock.

One of the frequent problems when sowing or transplanting is the mess that remains in grow rooms or spaces. This new delivery system comes ready to use, without the mess.

This easy-to-use system has an integrated tear-off opening, eight drip holes (2 on each side and 4 below), and is adapted for air distribution inside the bag. Keeping the interior of the bag lighter than usual containers will contribute to better root development and distribution by avoiding extra heat on the root system.

Formulation

With its high perlite content, PRO-MIX HP provides a great growing environment when you look to improve drainage capacity, increase air porosity, and reduce water retention. The added benefits of fibrous peat moss and coarse perlite make this formulation ideal for the grower who requires a superior-quality product adapted to their needs for watering flexibility and crop seasonality. The benefits in PRO-MIX HP are:

• Dries out faster than general purpose, peat‑based mixes
• Well suited for low-light growing conditions and high humidity
• More difficult to overwater crops
• Reduces incidence of water related problems (root diseases, algae, and fungus gnats)
• Holds less water for improved leaching of fertilizer salts during the crop cycle

Beneficial Microorganisms

The PRO-MIX HP MYCORRHIZAE (USA) and PRO-MIX HP BIOSTIMULANT + MYCORRHIZAE (Canada) open top grow bags include active ingredients in each bag. Adding biological active ingredients, such as beneficial mycorrhizae and Bacillus (Canada only), ensures a faster and more efficient use of water and nutrients which help plants reach optimal crop yield and quality.

Mycorrhizae connect with the plant roots to increase the total absorptive area, enhance the use of fertilizer and water for better quality, robust plants, and reduce environmental stresses. The biostimulant enhances nutrients absorption, improves seed germination and increases plant growth.
