Advice from our specialist

PRO-MIX CC40 MYCORRHIZAE is designed to be an outdoor growing medium for larger containers, perennials and nursery stock. It contains no perlite, giving the product a more natural, earthy look.

In contrast, PRO-MIX HPCC MYCORRHIZAE is designed for greenhouse crops in containers 4 inches or larger as well as hanging basket, large containers and perennials. The perlite is added for extra drainage during cloudy, cool, short days.

Ingredients

  • SPHAGNUM PEAT MOSS (55-65%) ?

Canadian Canadian Sphagnum peat moss is a natural, organic matter that comes from a peat bog. This primary resource is carefully harvested by vacuum harvesters. Peat moss comes in various fibrosity and levels of decomposition. Once carefully graded, peat moss assures that qualities of each grade are optimized for based on grower and uses for a final product reaching high quality requirements.

  • CHUNK COIR ?

Coir is a natural product which comes from the exterior envelop of an aged coco fruit. We have carefully selected a material providing the 3 important following qualities for a high-quality professional growing medium:

    • Physical (particles type and size)
    • Chemical (washed material with a very low salinity level)
    • Microbiological (exempt from any pathogens)
  • LIMESTONE ?

Used to adjust pH to optimum range. Also a source of Calcium and Magnesium.

  • WETTING AGENT ?

A wetting agent is a substance that reduces the surface tension of water, allowing water to penetrate and uniformly wet growing media.

  • MYCORRHIZAE - GHA297 TECHNOLOGY ?

Mycorrhizae - GHA297 Technology is a Biological Growth Enhancer that increases the yield of flower, fruit and vegetable plants by extending the root system to acquire the most of available nutrients in the soil. Mycorrhizae also improve resistance to root diseases and stresses.
