How AGTIV REACH® Works
Spore Germination
The mutually beneficial relationship between mycorrhizal fungi and potato roots begins when the fungal spores germinate in the soil.
Root Penetration
The thread-like structures of mycorrhizal fungi, called hyphae, penetrate the roots, creating an internal network of vesicles and arbuscules for nutrient exchange.
Hyphal Network Expansion
Fueled by sugars produced through photosynthesis, the external hyphae expand throughout the soil, increasing the plant's nutrient and water absorption area by up to 100 times.
Increased Nutrient and Water Absorption
Acting as a second root system, the extensive hyphal network enables potato plants to reach nutrients and water that would otherwise remain inaccessible in the soil.

Bacillus Multiplication
The beneficial relationship between Bacillus and potato roots begins when the bacteria multiply near the roots, fueled by sugars produced by the plant.
Biofilm Formation
As the bacteria multiply, they form a protective biofilm around the roots, creating an ideal environment for colonization and interaction with the plant.
Biostimulation of Plant
The Bacillus secretes biostimulant molecules that promote a healthy rooting environment and support efficient plant growth.
